I started this blog as a tool to use with the book I´m reading '100 Days of Weight Loss' by Linda Spangle.  My goal for these first 100 days is to lose 11kgs = 24,2lbs.  

I'm 40 years old have been overweight my entire life.  I have gone and off diets for as long as I can remember with little success, never losing more than 10kgs in total and then putting it all back on plus some.  I´m now lugging around an excess of  44kgs. That´s just under 100 pounds! I need to lose weight for my health - not only the usual reasons, but because I have severe scoliosis and a neurological disability called CMT which makes walking with a foot brace and crutches necessary.  Walking is already difficult for me - so the excess weight is putting a huge amount of strain on an already seriously weak foot.

I´m not the chatty type and I don´t have a way with words.  I´m a visually creative person, I love lists - I get to the point quickly.  So if you´ve found this blog - I am honestly very happy to have you along for the ride - but be forwarned -  I´m just blogging it as it is - and taking 1 day at a time.
